wouldn't Morse Runner be
as good a measure as any?
A couple of problems with Morserunner.......

The WRTC is a CW AND SSB contest. There is no S/P on Morserunner. There
are no decisions to be made by the ops as to which beam heading to use or what
band to use.
The Morserunner is good practice for CW, not a definer of a good overall
contester.
