It's wonderful news that Ken Widelitz, K6LA's September QST article "Learning
From Your Log Checking Report" won the cover plaque award. Way to go Ken!
Getting your writing published is good and getting recognition is better.
(Getting paid for it is best.)
There is still time to vote for the October QST cover plaque award. You might
like to consider voting for Ward Silver's article on the WRTC. You can do so on
the ARRL web site if you are an ARRL member. In the story about Ken's award
there's a link that will take you to the ballot page.
It's ironic, isn't it, that there are no log checking reports for the last ARRL
DX Contest. Your vote to support contesting articles in QST might help bolster
our favorite activity, not to mention getting more people interested in
contests and on the air for them.
