Here's an interesting tidbit from the WPX rules:

Note the use of "DX". 
So, in WPX, as long as I use "DX" spots I am
"Assisted", but if I, 
being stateside, glean a new US prefix, I am not?

After all this food for thought I think I'll get sick
now.  ;-)
