John,
I use Writelog for Contesting and DXLab Suite for general logging. N1MM is
also another contender for Contesting, but DXLab Suite does everything that
all of the other logging programs do, except its free and comes with the
best support available. Unlike Writelog, its author is on top of every
single suggestion and bug fix immediately, without griping about this and
that. Suggestions, while they may not be immediately implemented, are at
least commented on almost immediately, and a reason given for its not being
included. DXL is probably the best value ham program I've ever used.
