Sorry to nit-pick, but can I ask that the subjects of messages are not altered? 
This upsets the thread - this message is still part of the 'Annoying Trends' 
thread. Not only does it help me know what to read, but also (as is usually the 
case) what not to read ;-)

I asked the same question, but within the context of Cabrillo files ("why must 
I pack RST=599 when i didn't TX or RX an RST?").  The answer is just as 
annoying, but it is the answer none-the-less:
