I did try it last year and I think CQWW is still number 1 in the list with
well over 4000 logs submitted.
Russian DX contest seems to be #2 with 2865 logs received in 2006 followed
by IARU with 2861 logs received.
Then probably goes WPX . There were 2707 submitted logs in 2006 SSB part
and 2227 logs for CW contest.
ARRL DX CW brings in more logs (2547) then ARRL DX SSB (2221).
All of the top 4 contests boast increase in number of submitted logs
compared with 2005.

I'm not sure how to go about putting something like that together in the
first place, but thought I'd ask in case someone may have gone through the
effort already.
