Thus in one single announcement ending any hope of encouraging other teams
to enter the competition.  

What would have been truly inspiring would be to have each of these guys
captain a team and recruit guys in Phil's name.  Then we could have a
contest.

PS - I love the team contesting concept, but for some reason it just isn't
working in CQ WW.
