You guys are arguing over the wrong thing. The rules say:
"4.4. Check (the last two digits of the year you were first
licensed);"
It does not mention your callsign or station. It's just you.
In the case of a multi-op or especially a club station with an
inherited callsign, it might be more problematical, but for a single
op the rules are quite clear.
