As you all probably know by now, the results for the 2007 Mid Atlantic
QSO Party have been posted at maqp.org.
Plaque winners, certificate winners, and non-winners are all listed.
Judges' decision is final.
All awards will be delivered over the next weeks. Congratulations to
all the winners, and thanks to all participants.
We held out hope until the last possible moment for a continuation of
the MAQP, especially in light of the success of other area-wide QSO
contests, but due to flat participation and more importantly, a lack
of support and help doing all the work the contest entails despite
dozens of pleas for assistance, we regret to announce that there will
be no 2008 or future Mid-Atlantic QSO Parties.
Thanks to all participants and everyone who did help along the way. It
was a fun contest, although troubled by pretty bad conditions most
years. We'll be sorry to see it go. Hope to catch you all on the other
big contests!
