Alex, VE3NEA, has just released version 1.3 of CW Skimmer (www.dxatlas.com)
free to all registered users, which now reports information on the strength
of received signals as part of its spots. The Reverse Beacon Network
(http://skimmer.dxwatch.com) is now set up to receive and store that
information for later use. for example, you can query its database either
by the DX callsign or the spotter's, to find out when a given station's
signal was loudest on a Skimmer near you, or how your signal compared with
others being reported by a Skimmer across the pond.

Come take a look and give us your ideas on how we can best use this
information to enhance the usefulness of the network.

the World Contest Station Database is back...
