Seasons greetings Andrei and the group,
Given the fact that Microsoft offer a FREE DOWNGRADE from Vista back to XP,
I think this should give you a clue!
Stick with XP Pro and you won't have any problems. At least you know what
you are getting into, and how things work, so there will be no nasty
surprises.
OK, there are ways to get things to run under Vista, but for most
applications, it is a "fix" rather than a real solution.
I recently saw some stats that said something like 90% of businesses in the
USA have rolled back to XP after trying Vista.
GL with the search Andrei, and while you are at it, go for twin monitors
too! Well worth the small additional outlay.
73 for now
