than you all for answering some operating time questions that have always
confused me.
i now know (and assume for this next cqwpx)
1) contest "on time" starts with the first QSO
2) contest "off time" starts with the last QSO

how does the CAB file show on and off times?
i state in my "SOPAPBOX" portion of the TR log the on time and off times
that i operated.
(to me operating as always meant sitting in the chair trying to work
someone, but that is before i started reading all these eamils)
now i will not fill up my SOAPBOX with such comments; i will just work
whatever loudest CQing station i hear, dupe or not, and at the end of the
operating segiment i will again work the loudest CQing station i hear,
dupe or not.
i muse.................remember the emails a while back about too many
dupes in contests? what if everyone operating knows about the first QSO
starts the clock running rule? if this is not a factor in dupes i would
be surprised................
