In case you haven't heard, and have a pile of old nicads, gel cells, or
other bad rechargeable batters laying around waiting for your town or some
other recycling center to open... check out the web site:
http://www.call2recycle.org/ to locate free recycling centers. One that is
handy for most of us is Radio Shack. Every Radio Shack will accept old
rechargeable batteries up to 2lbs/1kg or so and ship it back to the rbrc for
you free. Also in the list are places like Wal-Mart, Verizon Wireless
stores, Home Depot, and various other hardware and home supply places. They
