I've been having problems with my keyer paddles. I guess one too many times
getting rained on during VHF QRP-Portable operations this summer did
something to them. I operated exclusively with the paddles in SS. My CW was
sloppy at times due to the paddle problem and me trying to adjust them while
sending.

Several people asked for repeats when I sent, for example, the number 4 as
didididididah (5 dits and a dah). That's why I wondered how many people were
using code readers. If I heard that I'd just type in a 4.
I'm going to have to ask Santa for a new paddle this year ...
