I had more U.S. stations call me this year than ever before. If it is a
"dry" period I just work them real quick and get done with it, but I don't
put them in the contest log. However yesterday morning on 80 meters, right
in the middle of a JA run, a KC0 dude was darn persistent to keep calling me
over and over, even though he obviously could copy the fact that I was
running JA's. Ignoring him just wasn't working. I finally sent CQ DX a
couple of time real quick and he got the message.
You don't want to be rude, but you don't want to miss some "real" counters.
Etiquette? Your solution is probably as good as any!

Subject: [CQ-Contest] What Do You Do about US Stations Calling US in ARRL
DX?
This weekend I had several U.S. stations calling me during the ARRL DX
Contest. I do not like to ignore them, but don't want to take the time to
work them. I settled in saying "sri no us in test tu" and kept calling CQ.
What is proper etiquette?
