Thursday night US: Week 9 of the 10-week NCCC Sprint (NS) Ladder, NSL-8.

Time: 0230-0300Z (Friday UTC) on 20, 40, 80 and 160m cw (40 up or 1815).
Info at: http://www.ncccsprint.com/ladder.html
Report scores to www.hornucopia.com

NO3M has a solid lead in the Atlantic Division of the contest, as does our
perennial favorite Jim, N3BB for the West Central Division. However, the
East Central Division is close between N4OGW and K9BGL, and there's a good
horse-race in the NCCC division, with N6RO just slightly ahead of the
Locust, K6VVA. Even closer. . W0YK and N6ZFO in 4th and 3rd place in the
NCCC Division, separated by just 57 points for the highest 6 of the ten
weeks of competition. In the West Division, W7WHY has a strong lead, but in
this case two stations with higher average scores, W7OM and K7SS, have
competed less than 6 weeks, so that one is also too close to call.

If you're a sprinter, we hope you'll get on, help these guys, and give this
snappy, short contest a try, and then consider competing in the next 10-week
ladder, which begins on 'July 23.

NS LAdder is preceded by the Slow NS practice session at 0200-0215+ at 18-26
wpm. Organized by Mike W9RE

We'll break for ARRL Field Day next week, then conclude the current ladder
on July 2nd.
