Greetings Contesters,
I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas Holiday and a Happy New
Year and most of all, a fun contest season.
I am in need of contesters running M/S, M/2 and M/M contest station in
CQWW CW and/or SSB who are willing to volunteer to host a young ham and
myself in support of the Young Ham Contest Program. There will be no
cost to you to support this program other than reserving a chair for the
young ham with maximum operating time. Providing me operating time would
be a bonus but is not required. I will cover all expenses for the young
ham and myself, including travel, hotel, food and licensing. All you
have to do is provide a seat, plenty of operating time for the young ham
and a memorable experience. Location is not important and your station
does not have to be on some remote Island to qualify. You only need a
decent station in the M/S, M2 or M/M category. I will select a different
location for each contest.
If you are interested in supporting my program, please email me with
your name, call sign, available contest date, operation type, bands
available for the young ham (preferably a mix), operators, and a station
description. If you are in a difficult to reach location, please provide
information explaining the process of getting there and obtaining a
license.
Depending upon response and availability I may sponsor one young ham for
each major contest.
There are lots of young hams out there just waiting for this
opportunity. Please help make a young hams dream come true and volunteer
to sponsor this incredibly rewarding program!
