It was fun reading the "old" articles - thanks for posting!  K1TN, W9RE,
K5ZD - were they contesting in the womb?

I wasn't involved in ham radio then (1990) but I was always involved with
PCs (and mainframes before that) so I find the software/hardware history as
interesting as the contesting history.
