I often operate portable in VHF contests and otherwise from a hill in
the middle of a wind farm (Twin Groves Wind Farm, McLean County IL).
These have 300 ft tall towers and 150 ft long blades. I am not sure
about HF but on VHF+ I have noticed little or no effect on 50 through
432 MHz. There is some on the higher bands beyond that. Signals sound
fluttery and sometimes they do not come from the expected bearing.
Some signals have peaked as much as 30 or 40 degrees off from where I
expected them.
