Hi Art,

This happened to me once in a serial number contest (WPX), so two stations
got the same number from me. I also managed to log them both correctly.
I've often wondered if there were any adverse consequences for the other
guys.

I already posted this story on the PVRC Reflector during the 'Test, but I
wanted to tell it here, too.

Working CW in the 10M Contest Sunday morning, doing some S&P. I heard HD2A
running, very loud; and just a couple of hunded Hz above him, CX5BW, pretty
loud. I called the HD once or twice, entering his "next" number in my
log. Did not get him, so I wiped the QSO and shifted up a little and
called the CX. Did not get him first call, either; entered his "next"
number, waited and called again.

The CX came back to me. And so did the HD. Well, I'm not one of those
guys who can actualy copy two CW strings simultaneously, but I did manage.
I'm not sure exactly what sequence I went thru, but I did hit Enter to log
the CX, copied part of the HD's number, hit F2 to send the report to both
of them, heard them both QSL, and hit Enter again to log the HD. Then I
listened to another QSO from each to make sure I had the numbers right.

First time I ever worked two at a time S&P.
