The Florida Confest Group is pleased to announce the return of the Orlando
Contest Dinner for 2012. After the Orlando Hamcation closes on Friday,
February 10, come just up the road to the American Legion Hall at 2101 Lee
Road in Orlando. You'll enjoy a plated dinner and free domestic 807s,
followed by an address by new NCJ editor K4RO. Dinner starts at 6:00pm, and
at 8:00pm the room will transition to a hospitality suite with free beer,
cw and ssb copying contests, and raffle prizes (grand prize TBD).
If you're thinking about attending the Orlando Hamcation, the southern
Dayton and, by some accounts the second largest hamfest in the US, please
make time to join the FCG for the Orlando Contest Dinner.
To attend, send a check to K4LQ (CBA) for $20 per attendee. A maximum of
100 tickets will be sold, so get your ticket early. You can pick up your
tickets at the American Legion Hall on a will-call basis starting at 1700
local on February 10. Dinner will start at 1800.
So come, enjoy a plated dinner and free 807s with 99 other contesters, hear
an address by the editor of the National Contest Journal, and enjoy Orlando
