I understand the "iron butt" thing. For many reasons guys can not or will
not do 48 hours. Fair enough. However, those complaining about lack of
activity during the slow hours in the US (900-1200Z) ain't seen nothing yet
if we allow people to pick and choose their best 20, 24 or 36 hours. The
slow times will really be slow. Who in their right mind would operate
during those hours if you want to maximize your score?
I'm not saying we shouldn't have another class, but we need to be mindful
of every action producing results...sometimes not what we wanted.
