If this past weekend is any measure of the effects of reduced operating time, then the results speak for themselves. . From the begining to the end of the 48 hour WPX, there were no slow periods. The bands were and remained filled. There were always plenty of new stations to work right up to the end. The fear of a loss of activity because of a "cap" on the number of hours a single op could put in just wasn't there! If the contest is fun, activity will remain high.
