I like this idea too.
For me, "Working a station on 3 bands" double the points and "Working on 5 
bands" triple the points could be good too.
Or adding some kind of sprint : if you "work 50 DXCC entities in 3 hours" you 
got 1 bonus (points ? additional mults ?), if you "work 100 DXCCs in 12 hours" 
again one bonus.

But for me this should be only to attract the new-comers and make them 
competitive even with a small station.
