I haven't been following this, but wouldn't it make sense that if we are to
continue the subband by regulation tradition in the U.S., that we consider
subbands by transmit signal bandwidth rather than by mode?  Transmit
signals <250 kHz at bottom, then gradation like <500, <1K, <2K, <3K (each
step up includes narrower bandwidths from below)?  Dave K3ZJ
