Randy, Outstanding work by N2NC and his team for recording the CQWW scores
for 1967-1968. It is wonderful to see our old scores from ET3USA !!!
ET3USA has not existed since about 1974, but the memories linger.

Many tnx, George

OK, I have to ask:
Just what is your motivation in asking such a question? Do you have a
specific contest in mind?

With respect to CQWWDX, the answer is the same as already posted for SS.
Specifically:

[snip]
I. OBJECTIVE: For amateurs around the world to contact as many other
amateurs in as many CQ zones and countries as possible.
[end snip]

Of course, in CQWWDX, even if it were allowed, you would get zero points
and hence no score impact (unless you were the only QSO with your
country/zone). Was that your motivation in asking? Are you going some place
really
rare and you don't want to miss your own mult(s)?

Get your competitive juices flowing, warmup for California QSO Party.

CWops Test fun Wednesday/Thursday. CWTs offer something for everyone.
Everyone welcome--you don't have to be a CWops member to join the fun. You
can get on and make a few contacts with fellow CW enthusiasts. You can get
on and extend a friendly welcome to hams trying a CWT for the first time.
Try for a high score. Or all of the above, all in one session.

Three separate one-hour sessions. http://www.cwops.org/cwt.html .

Lots of Qs or just a few, please report your results at
http://www.3830scores.com/ .

I continue to record all my CWT QSOs over all three sessions. If you would
like to hear your signal at W6SX, email me, and I'll send you short MP3
files of our contacts.

Paul, I like that term "innovators" which you use below.

In our country the PT&T authority includes innovation in our rules (they
use the words "advancement" and "advancing") lest we still would be
transmitting sparks and receiving with a galena crystal.

Innovation >>IS<< mandatory!

radio service having a fundamental purpose as expressed in the following

(c) Encouragement and improvement of the amateur service through rules
which provide for ADVANCING skills in both the communication and technical

N2NC and his team of bleary eyed typists have been at it again. Two
additional years, 1967 and 1968, have been added to the CQWW online score
database.

Search the database: http://www.cqww.com/score_db.htm

View the activity trend: http://www.cqww.com/stats.htm

There are now 160,236 entries recorded for SSB and 152,658 for CW.

Thanks to everyone who has participated in the CQWW over the years and to
the typists for converting the paper results into electronic form.
