Discussion of remotes now leaves out the fact that two-way remote RF ham
operations is more than ten years old and remote receivers even older.

Two-way remotes have been secretly used for a long time. Who knows how
many contesting contacts have been made that way.

Who knows the results on contests via the use of remote receivers. Being
able to hear better in busy or rare locations with a remote receiver can be
a big help, especially if one has a huge transmit signal.

The "hole" in making contest contacts is HEARING well. Stacked antennas
and stacked amplifiers mean we can be heard... it is the hearing that is
difficult. So, just tap in via that new hobby, Internet Contesting, to a
remote receiver near your desired contact, and presto! hearing is solved.

GL to coping contesting leadership. 73
