Hi, Trent - many US contesters will reply to just about any CQ TEST where the 
rules say they can participate! That weekend doesn't seem to have any other big 
US contests - Florida QSO party, along with Helvetica and SP RTTY are about it.


If it would encourage more VK activity in that or any other contest, I'd get on 
and make some QSOs. I assume if it is a one time only change, the opposite 
("Damn Yank contesters butting in to our event") effect would *not* occur.
