Hi Jeff -
I've had two of the ICE 419's for many years and they seemed to perform
well. Recently they both developed problems with the relays not making
good contact when switching bands and being sensitive to mechanical
"shock" (pounding on the box...).
I spoke with WX0B at Array Solutions, which took over ICE a while ago,
and Jay told me that they don't work on the 419's any more. I have
replaced one 419 with a Bandpasser II and am very happy with it; it
interfaces well with my K3. I still use the better 419 on one radio, but
occasionally have to send a "dit" after switching bands before I get
good contact from the relay.
