The February (print) issue of Scientific American has a nice review of "Contact Sport," by Jim George, N3BB, about WRTC 2014. It's on page 72 of the magazine. The review called the WRTC "the pinnacle event of the surprisingly thrilling world of competitive ham radio" and mentioned the book's description of "aggressive jockeying for coveted wave bands." Sales of the book began February 1. Available at some chain book stores and on Amazon. I have no pecuniary interest in this and I have not read the book. -- K1TN _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest |
