Greetings Diddlers!

Believe it or not it’s that time again! Yes, time to think about practicing
your keyboard skills (or try out something new!). This weekend looks to be
quite the smorgasbord of modes and contest types. Several QSO parties
(Nebraska, Michigan, North Dakota, and our northern neighbors Ontario). TARA is
having one of their “all digital modes” get togethers so if you want to try
something really different there’s that one. And even Feld Hell for the
ultimate digital/analog mix!

Seems there is a large radio convention of some type in Visalia, CA this
weekend which I hear may draw away a few people from the bands. If all the big
guns are there here’s your chance!

Pleased to have first-timer AE7NR join us last week. Welcome Rob! Pretty lively
session, although 80 and 160 were a little under utilized last week.
Don’t forget to check the lower bands, you never know what might be there.

VE3YT joined us on 3610 later in the evening to report he’s making progress on
his antenna repairs. Half of the Canadian contingent will soon be back at full
strength.

Here’s the usual list of times, rules and extra notes for our usual Thursday
soiree:

Friday, 15 Apr 2016, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday 14 Apr 2016 in NA)
-- 1845 - 1915 PDT
-- 2145 - 2215 EDT
-- (others in-between those two)
-- 160: 1805 and up
-- 80/40/20/15 +80kHz up from the band edge
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q.
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules
-- Mults per band.
-- 100W power limit.

Please visit http://www.ncccsprint.com/rttyns.html for complete rules
and links to other info. If you find any problems with the web pages, please
let me know so we can get them fixed.

Report scores to 3830scores.com, and join us at 0300Z on 3610 kHz
for comments and questions (and dinner menus).

Diddle diddle,

Ken K6MR
