Great opportunity to practice for the NAQP SSB that's a month away.
For those that tried this during the winter and got turned off since
it was mostly low band activity it is a different event during the
summer. 20 is open most nights and some nights 15 is open. Last week
half the time was spent on 20 meter. Some competitors were experience
rates of 120 Q/hr and finished with around 60 Q's for only 1/2 hr of
operating. Good way to hone those pile up skills.

contest.? Please bring a friend and/or introduce a new contester into
the mix.
The Phone Fray is weekly and mirrors NAQP SSB; exchange name and
S/P/C, mults per band.
Suggested center frequencies are:? 21.325, 14.250, 7.175, 3.800 (try
to avoid 3.790-3.800, and lower is better), 1.875.
Note:? Please make sure to check up above 7225.? It's been a bit
congested around 7175.? Also, on 80, check low to about 3750.
15?is usually open at the start, then folks move down to 20, 40, 80,
and Q's are had on 160 in the last five minutes.
