Greetings Diddlers:

Well activity was definitely up last week. WD0T managed to escape the
thunderstorms, and N6RO found his way back to the shack (and of course hasn’t
lost his touch).

Don’t forget that we’re getting close to the REAL Sprints: CW is just 18 days
away, and RTTY just 7 days after that. So watch out for a note from your local
team builder and get on a Sprint team!

The upcoming weekend has the Slovenia CC RTTY test, and a number of QSO
parties. So it will be easy to keep busy.

If you need a chance to check out your RTTY setup before the weekend (and brush
up on your Sprint skills, if needed), please join us Thursday evening.

Here’s the usual list of times, rules and extra notes for our usual Thursday
soiree:

Friday, 26 Aug 2016, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday 25 Aug 2016 in NA)
-- 1845 - 1915 PDT
-- 2145 - 2215 EDT
-- (others in-between those two)
-- 160: 1805 and up
-- 80/40/20/15 +80kHz up from the band edge (Don’t forget to check 15!)
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q.
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules
-- Mults per band.
-- 100W power limit.

Please visit http://www.ncccsprint.com/rttyns.html for complete rules
and links to other info. If you find any problems with the web pages, please
let me know so we can get them fixed.

Report scores to 3830scores.com, and join us at 0300Z on 3610 kHz
for comments and questions (and dinner menus).

Diddle diddle,

Ken K6MR
