Greetings Diddlers:

What’s that? You say that you operated the NCJ RTTY Sprint last weekend and
enjoyed it? And, it’s too bad that the next one is not until March 2017. You
need more practice. Need to limber up that main VFO knob a bit more.

Well in case you have not been paying attention, that’s what this announcement
is all about. 30 minutes of rip roaring RTTY Sprinting. OK, not as many
stations. But this is practice. Now that you’ve got the Sprint format
memorized in short term memory, let’s work on making it second nature.

Please join us Thursday evening and keep those newly acquired Sprint skills
sharp.

Here’s the usual list of times, rules and extra notes for our usual Thursday
soiree:

Friday, 23 Sept 2016, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday 22 Sept 2016 in NA)
-- 1845 - 1915 PDT
-- 2145 - 2215 EDT
-- (others in-between those two)
-- 160: 1805 and up
-- 80/40/20/15 +80kHz up from the band edge (Don’t forget to check 15!)
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q.
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules
-- Mults per band.
-- 100W power limit.

Please visit http://www.ncccsprint.com/rttyns.html for complete rules
and links to other info. If you find any problems with the web pages, please
let me know so we can get them fixed.

Report scores to 3830scores.com, and join us at 0300Z on 3610 kHz
for comments and questions (and dinner menus).

Diddle diddle,

Ken K6MR
