Almost 60% of his QSO's were with Europe. The Canary Islands are about 2100 miles from Germany.This is about the same distance as Atlanta is from Seattle, WA - 2180 miles.Jeff / KU8E Jeff, Ekaterinburg (UA9C), where I live is 5000 km (3106 miles) from Vladivostok (UA0L). Both are Asiatic Russia and therefore is zero points in CQWW. If I speak of UA0K (Magadan) it is even farther.
