Just thinking out loud here, but perhaps there is a concern of people changing their category AFTER claimed scores are posted, and will post their scores after the deadline. Or maybe they just don't want to post their score. Posting claimed scores is more of a courtesy to the community and is not required. By not posting does not imply wrong doing in any way in my opinion.
