Charles, As someone who has contested numerous times from 9M6, I can honestly say that I feel your pain. However, it todays "skimmer enhanced world", you should try CQing on bands that are not busy. Usually 10 CQs is enough to "light up" the skimmer crowd. You might be surprised.
