Greetings Diddlers:

Last week was a better than a baker’s dozen turnout week, and I know of at
least one station that did not post to 3830. NG7Z was back in the mix, with a
number of our newest participants putting up some great numbers. 80 and 160 are
pretty much out of the mix for the west coast guys. I never heard N3QE on 80
which is almost unheard of But, 15 was alive, so I guess we’ll have to accept
the trade off. 20 was definitely good, so don’t forget to check those higher
bands with all the daylight we have at start time.

The upcoming weekend has the Ukrainian RTTY DX test on tap, with a few other
popular cw tests thrown in for good measure (the Summer Stew and All Asian CW).
So plenty to keep you busy. Please join us Thursday evening and give the rtty
part of your station a quick test and also practice your Sprint skills.

Here are the details for our Thursday evening ditty:
Friday, 16 June 2017, 0145Z - 0215Z (Thursday, 15 June 2017 in NA)
-- 1845 - 1915 PDT
-- 2145 - 2215 EDT
-- (others in-between those two)
-- 160: 1805 and up (Last two minutes seem to be popular…)
-- 80/40/20/15/10 +80kHz up from the band edge (start checking those higher
bands!)
-- Same band dupes ok after 1 intervening Q.
-- 1 kHz QSY rule, otherwise standard Sprint rules
-- Mults per band
-- 100W power limit

Please visit http://www.ncccsprint.com/rttyns.html for complete rules and links
to other info. If you find any problems with the web pages, please let me know
so we can get them fixed.
If you would like to receive all the latest info about NS as well as a have a
place for comments and questions, sign up for the NS mailing list:
http://www.kkn.net/mailman/listinfo/nccc-blue

Report scores to 3830scores.com, and join us at 0300Z on 3610 kHz (+/- a few
for ongoing groups) for comments and questions (and dinner menus).

Diddle diddle,

Ken K6MR
