The magic of this hobby (ham radio in general, contesting in particular) is
that it has always enabled all versions and niches to operate simultaneously.
Luckily, radios continue to include tuning knobs and filters for easy choice
making.

The downside of using social media is that it has always enabled fans of
particular versions and niches to complain about all the other versions and
niches! Luckily, keyboards have delete and page down keys to make choices...

Field Day 2016. He didn't slow down the Ham Radio 2.0 ops at all.
