SO2R or SO3R or so on depends on the kindness of other ops to function.
However you slice it, there is some time when an SO2R has a frequency, has
a station there wanting a contact, but the SO2R operator is on a different
band working, or looking for, somphtin else.

At some time, there has to be a *kind *operator waiting for the SO2R to
come back (or stop incessant CQs). Those who S&P are the LIFE BLOOD of
contests, but must put up with SO2Rs delays.

SO2Rs depend on the kindness of strangers, just like Blanche.

Me, I don't wait (unless station is needed for DXCC counting). I don't
believe in occupying more band space than my one clean sig. But, I say Oh
Well........

PS, then there are the incessant CQs with no human break between that are
being done just to hold the frequency, also Rotten Radio, I think.
