The idea is that if I go someplace with my amplifier, do I want to
carry 2 separate boxes? Are there power cables to lose? Power
connectors to break? All issues I've encountered.
As for the weight issue, yes, that's what they made wheeled carts for. :)
(plus these things are getting lighter all the time)
I get the impression that the separate power supply in the KPA1500 was
a means of getting the amp to line up with the rest of the "K-Line."
