That is not self spotting. I spot lots of things that I don't work or
can't work or stations I already worked in contests and outside
contests. Who knows if the op will see and understand the meaning of
your spot.
Self spotting is you trying to run on a freq and using your call or
another call to spot that frequency so people can find you.

doesn't mention the station callsign,it can't be considered self spotting
as the DX station won't know the callsign which wants to work him (although
he might assume it is the one spotting him).
