There has been some comments about declining CW contest participation.
There's one sure way to reverse that and it's to grow more CW contesters!
Doing that can happen in two steps:
1. We need more CW operators. The best way to do that is to become a
CW Academy mentor and help the long list of hams who are awaiting
instruction! CW Academy has a traffic track record of training new CW ops -
more than 800 graduates so far and the list is growing but the number who
have signed up is exceeding the number of available mentors. You can get

There is no charge for the students - the CW Academy is free and open to
anyone who wants to learn or improve their CW operating.
2. Work with your contest club to attract new graduates from CWA. Get
them interested in contesting, hold local contest universities, have hope
house at your multi-ops. Focus on hams participating in the CW rookie
roundup, etc.
