Do you really need to ask this question?
If somebody sends you an exchange that doesn’t make sense, ASK FOR A FILL.
The logcheckers will probably check your log against what his log claims he
sent. If you copy what he sends the first time (but doesn’t make sense), you
MAY get lucky and it will match (good for you) or you MAY NOT (ex: ZF9CW where
his computer was trying to send “8”, but the hardware mangled it to “7”, I’ll
bet his log shows 8). Although a fill might not help in the case of what ZF9CW
had to suffer thru, in most cases with a fill you may have a second exchange to
compare and you can make a better decision.
