I'm part of a team that, pre-COVID, has lit up 5-6 rare counties in UT
and NV for 7QP. We operate from a neat contesting trailer that W6GJB
built, camp at one setup in the east of the state, work 2-3 hours, break
down, drive to another site, operate there until we've worked out the
bands, drive to a third and operate til midnight. We mostly choose sites
on county lines. In between portable setups, W6JTI runs mobile riding
