I agree while heartedly! Last year we bought 3 air purifiers for our home. I
didn’t realize that the main control switch was a touch switch. Dropping my
power below 50 watts was the only way to stop them from cycling through speeds
and modes. I tried the usual torrids and filters but nothing worked. Even if I
shut them off, this would still happen. Unplugging was the only thing that
would work. Until I found for 20 bucks at Harbor Freight a remote controlled
power outlet. And it came in a 3 pack to boot. So come contest time or any
other transmit time, the remote is at my operating position, and off go the air
purifiers! Walla, problem solved.
