Probably this rule resulted in the many check logs: 
" HIGH power, above 100 watts, classifies log as CHECKLOG.  QRP power, 5 watts 
or lower, classifies as LOW power."
I did a talk on FT8 and contesting a few years at Dayton/Xenia and recommended 
that all FT8 contesting be separate from RTTY and be low power, good to see.
