A quick review of the records detailed on cqww.com suggest that only two MM
in CQWW CW have ever attained 6-band DXCC during CQWW CW, CN8WW in 1999 and
EA8ZS in 2002. LN8W this morning already was showing 6-Band DXCC from 59.4
degrees NL -- quite an accomplishment from that far north.

Assuming the scoreboard reports are confirmed in the final results, three
stations in the M/S category also are reporting 6-band DXCC: LZ5R, OM7M, &
ES9UKR. It appears that this has been accomplished only once before, by
P33W in 2010.

Of course, there may be additional stations reaching this level that are
not on the online scoreboard. And my quick review of records may have
missed some.

But It appears to be a record weekend with propagation balanced among the
bands as much as it ever has been. Congratulations to all the operators.

73, Dave K3ZJ
