Contesting is a test of Radioman skills. You should transcribe into your log
what you copy over the air, not what some computer program "fills in the
blanks" for you. If a guy with a W6xxx callsign sends "5NN 27" in CQWW CW,
then that is what should go into your log.

When you receive an obviously incorrect Zone (like the guy is from CA
and sends something other than 3), do you log what he sends, or the
correct Zone? You could be screwed either way, but logging the correct
Zone seems the lesser of the evils.
