Ah, but what if the typo was in his setting up his Config sheet (or
whatever, in whatever software he was using). entering "MO" instead of "ME"?

Extremely unlikely that he would make such an error and also not notice it
over thousands of QSOs (even doing 2BISQ).  Almost as unlikely as making
such a big score from Missouri,
